In the past, some have voiced concerns about the donor selection process used by the Red Cross. The American Red Cross enforces policies set by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to determine who is eligible to give blood. There will be a few different form letters available at the Blood Drive for anyone who opposes these policies and would like to send a letter to federal officials voicing their concerns. Your participation is welcome in supporting the Blood Drive and/or voicing your concern about the donor selection practices.
