Evening Student Orientation

August 19 & 21, 2008
5:00 - 5:30pm Check-in
Sullivan Building – Room 117

• Hear from Continuing Education staff who will provide info on campus services and programs
• Meet as a group with Academic Advising Center staff, who will review essential degree program requirements and important academic info
• Have your Clipper Card ID photo taken
• Have the opportunity to buy a parking decal

Testing

All incoming freshmen, except for Transfers, must participate in a Testing program to determine skill development needs, competency levels and exemption from courses. Test results do not affect the condition of your acceptance; they assist us in placing you into the appropriate courses and defining the appropriate support services to allow you to develop your full academic potential. There are three components to the testing:

• Computer Literacy Test
• Writing Sample
• Accuplacer Online
