Facilities
- Four study rooms (CC234, CC235, CC239, & CC245) that accommodate up to 6 students and are ideal for working on group projects. Available to all business students.
- The Thomas M. '68 & Joan M. Feeley Accounting Lab, CC115, features Dell Pentium IV computers with networked printing.
- A general computing lab, CC129, equipped with Dell Pentium IV computers with networked laser printing. See lab schedule for hours.
- Ten smart classrooms with a differing range of capabilities. Among the technologies featured are SmartBoards, Plasma TV's, projector screens, Sympodium touch screen monitors, and document cameras. Some rooms accommodate multipoint conferencing. Featured are the Walter A. & Sally A. Cuffe Classroom and the Nicholas & Alice Xanthaky Classroom.
Associations
- The Accounting Association encourages professional interest among students preparing for careers in Business Administration and offers programs geared toward accounting.
- The Finance Association is designed to provide learning experiences, career awareness, and networking opportunities for students, and also to extend the resources of the department to the college community.
- The American Marketing Association holds job fairs and a career day, as well as workshops on resume writing, interviewing techniques, letter writing, dressing for industry. They also connect SSC members with the professional chapter through seminars, dinners, and conferences.
