Welcome to the Bertolon School of Business website. Our site contains a great deal of information that will help you learn more about our school, whether you are a student, employer, parent or alumnus.
In 2006, the Bertolon School of Business was named in recognition of the generosity of Henry ’74 and Donna Bertolon. As a highly successful entrepreneur and SSC alumnus, Mr. Bertolon exemplifies the Salem State business education: strong business skills, deep ethical understanding and a commitment to hard work.
We are deeply proud of all that is happening at the Bertolon School, from our new, state-of-the-art facility, to our deeply engaged faculty, to our wonderful students. The BS in Business Administration is the single most popular undergraduate degree at Salem State. We offer both undergraduate and graduate programs and certificates, across a wide range of concentrations and schedules. Our faculty members are highly qualified, both as researchers and practitioners.
The Bertolon School of Business programs and curricula are designed to support the economic growth and development of our home on Boston’s North Shore, as well as to foster the development of a better, more flexible future workforce. We share our campus with the Enterprise Center, a 53,000-square-foot business incubator and training facility, and host the Small Business Development Center of the North Shore.
Our dedication to providing the best possible education while remaining financially accessible to students is exemplified by our recent decision to pursue accreditation by the Association to Advance Colleges and Schools of Business (AACSB) International – the top accrediting agency for business education.
