Turi Lonero, Head Coach
 Turi Lonero is in his second season as the head men's soccer coach at Salem State College. Lonero, who coached at Northeastern University and East Boston High School prior to coming to Salem State in January 2005, produced SSC's first winning season since 1999 by leading last year's team to a 12-7-1 record and runner-up finish in the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference postseason tournament.
Prior to Lonero's arrival at Salem, the Vikings posted a 3-14 overall record and finished in last place in 2004. For his efforts in 2005, Lonero was voted MASCAC coach of the year by his league peers. Peter Mendel and Braden Monaco will serve as Lonero's assistants for the second straight year. Turi Lonero resides in Andover.
