Steve Campbell, Head Coach
 Steve Campbell is currently in his fifth year as the head coach of the Salem State golf program. Campbell is no stranger to the tradition of success the program has built over the years, having been a part of it as a student athlete back in the 1970s.
Campbell '73 served as a team captain for the legendary George Jacobson in 1973 when the Vikings competed at the NCAA championships. Campbell has returned to the program, exhibiting a strong commitment to bring the program back to the level it enjoyed for over two decades.
Under Jacobson, who is a member of the SSC Hall of Fame and the National Golf Coaches Association Hall of Fame, the golf program became a fixture on the collegiate golf scene nation-wide. Campbell resides in Andover.
