From Rome to Grease!

It's the 14th season for Summer Theatre at Salem, the professional arm of the SSC theatre department, and it's going to be bigger than ever. We're mounting two major musicals on the Mainstage.

First, a comedy set in the classical era, a Sondheim favorite: "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," directed by David Allen George. Pseudolus, the slave, played by summer favorite Peter Zachari, attempts to gain his freedom by playing matchmaker for his master's son.

Then, fast forward to the 1950's for the dance-off at Rydell High! For nostalgia and romance, it's "Grease" on stage this July starring Joey Mirabile and Jaime Slatt as Danny and Sandy.
