The Music Department, with the newly built, state-of-the-art Recital Hall, is growing faster than any other Center for the Arts department. Just this year, only one year into its new music major offering, the department now offers Music on Mondays, regular concerts offered for free to the public, as well as the Distinguished Artist Series, which invites world class musicians to perform at the College. The Jazz Band, The Chorus, and the Chamber Singers and the Instrumental Chamber Ensembles all perform multiple times a semester. Often, during community time, Mondays at 11:00am, Music hosts well known musicians from the Boston area for master classes and music industry career workshops.
