Maureen is the Graduate Faculty Coordinator of the Masters of Arts in Teaching Art program at Salem State College. She is licensed Pre-K-12 Visual Arts in the state of MA, and has taught studio art courses, Visual Arts Teacher Licensure courses, and has created arts enrichment programs for such institutions as: Montserrat College of Art, Redbrick Arts, Endicott College, and the Beverly Public Schools. Maureen has taught college level studio arts courses at: Harvard University, Montserrat College of Art, Salem State College, and the Boston Museum School. A working and exhibiting artist, Maureen’s work has been exhibited at Ward – Nasse Gallery in New York, Symphony Hall Boston, Boston Center for the Arts, Harvard University, Redbrick Arts foundation, and Mingo Gallery.  Her work is in several prestigious collections in Europe and has been featured on MTV’s “Real World” Boston. Maureen is a member of the National Art Education Association and serves as a review member for licensure programs for the Department of Education.

Currently Maureen teaches the following graduate courses: Research Methods in Arts Education, Advanced Curriculum, Curriculum Frameworks and State Standards, Cultural Diversity in Artistic Expression and various graduate studio courses.
