Ken Reker

Ken has more than fifteen years of experience teaching art foundation courses in both private and public academic institutions. He has also worked within major commercial art venues in Chicago, including lead preparator for the Marx-Saunders Gallery in River North. He teaches COLOR & DESIGN (Art 101) and FORM & DESIGN (Art 203). Ken works in a variety of media and materials, with a specific interest in mixed media /found object assemblage. He was recently selected to design a large window installation, utilizing objects from the collection of the Boston Children’s Museum, as part of the museum’s major new renovation project.
