Vancouver

Bounded to the north by the majestic Coast Range mountains, it is no wonder that this beautiful city rivals Seattle for the title, "Crown Jewel of the Pacific Coast." And within its emerald crown of towering thousand-year-old spruce trees, Vancouver has a spectacular array of exciting attractions waiting for you.
Our Daily Itinerary (subject to change):
Sunday, Aug. 1: Arrive Vancouver - Board Ship
Today we board the sumptuous Norwegian Sun and set sail for Alaska
Monday, Aug. 2: Cruise the Inside Passage
A thousand ice-sculpted islands and tidewater glaciers flowing out to sea - moose, bears, deer, sea otters, dolphins and whales in primordial abundance - all yours from your own private amphitheater - the exquisite Norwegian Sun
Wednesday, Aug. 4: Juneau, Sawyer Glacier
From rafting to salmon fishing to panning for gold, there's a wild array of things to do in Alaska's capital. For visitors seeking the grandeur of Alaska's glaciers, there is no finer place to view giant bergs and flowing rivers od ice than Juneau, and Sawyer Glacier rates as one of Alaska's most massive glaciers, beautifully framed with snow-capped mountain peaks.
Thursday, Aug. 5: Skagway
Climb aboard for a streetcar ride back through saloons, gambling houses and dance halls of Skagway's swashbuckling past. Listen to the tales of gold stampedes, lawlessness, and notorious figures like Soapy Smith. Then go for a hike through spectacular scenery of towering mountains; and diamond-blue glaciers.
Friday, Aug. 6: Wrangell
The Alaskan community of Wrangell offers exciting opportunities for thrilling wildlife excursions up close to glaciers. Anan Bear and Wildlife Observatory is favorite spot to view brown and black bears up close as they feast on Wrangell's abundant salmon.
Saturday, Aug. 7: Cruise Inside Passage
Sunday, Aug. 8: Vancouver - Home
Our ship docks in Vancouver and we transfer to the airport for our flight home.
