First Year Families Reception
10:00 a.m. – Veterans Hall, Ellison Campus Center,
North Campus
All first year students and families are cordially invited to a
special reception in their honor. The Student Life staff proudly welcome the
newest members of the Salem State “family,” as we look back and celebrate
their success – with a few fun surprises.
Friends of the Campus Center Reception
10:30 a.m. – MLK Jr. Room, Ellison Campus Center,
North Campus
The Campus Center staff and current student officers join
in welcoming back past student leaders and all those who
hold the Ellison Campus Center near and dear to their hearts.
Here’s your chance to catch up with old friends and remember
those fond memories from your days in the Campus Center.
Homecoming Parade
12:00 p.m. – Central Campus
Alumni and family members are invited to join the Viking
Spirit Award and the Homecoming Banner contestants in a
parade to Alumni Field at the O’Keefe Athletic Complex to
cheer on the home team.
Homecoming 150th Celebration Barbecue
12:30 p.m. – O’Keefe Athletic Complex
The SSC Alumni Association invites all alumni, students and family members for
a pre-game 150th Celebration barbecue
on the lawn of the O’Keefe Athletic Complex following the Homecoming Parade.

The winners of the Viking Spirit Award will be
announced at halftime of the Men’s Soccer game.
Homecoming Banner Contest

will be judged during the parade. The winners of
the Banner Contest will be announced at halftime of
the Men’s Soccer game.
Homecoming Float Contest
Homecoming floats will also be judged during the parade. The winners
of the Homecoming Float Contest will be announced
at halftime of the Men’s Soccer game.
