Salem Cyberspace

Volunteer opportunities at the Salem CyberSpace:

College Mentors
Assist with college applications
Proofread essays
Help search and apply for scholarships
Discuss higher education options and career pathways

Time commitment:
One day every other week from October 2011 to November 2011
One day per week from December 2011 to mid-January 2012 (until submission of applications)
One day every other week from February 2012 to April 2012 to work on scholarship applications

Special Presenter
Present on your career or hobby to students from middle school to high school

Time commitment:
This could be a one time career presentation
(or allow a student to shadow you at your job site)
or a once a month activity based on your hobby
(photography, science, art, writing, ect.)

Tutors
Salem State University tutoring night (weekly tutoring)

Time Commitment:
Two hours per week through the school year, any subject
(English, Math, Science, History, and Language)
