Mission
The department's mission is to provide quality service to the College Community and other customers, as well as to generate income to support a myriad of college endeavors including student projects, faculty computing, educational equipment and many other programs.
Overview
Auxiliary Services is a support function of Administration and Finance, which provides contract oversight and management for the auxiliary enterprises at Salem State College.

These auxiliary enterprises include:

All of these services are contracted to outside vendors in return for a commission payable to the college as a percentage of sales.

Evelyn Wilson is the Director of Purchasing and she acts as the liaison for the College with these operations. She is responsible for ensuring quality and efficiency of each of these operations beginning with the bidding and negotiation of the contracts through to the provision of quality service.
