If you are a student transferring
from a college or university to SSC, please see Transfer
Admissions and Articulation . After being accepted, you'll receive
a Transfer Credit Evaluation (TCE), which lists courses that are being
accepted here and their course equivalency. Many times, a course is in
question and will come back in the evaluation as “department discretion,” which
means that a class' course description from your previous school(s) needs
to be submitted to the Chair of the appropriate department.
Day student transfer credits are handled through the Transfer Admissions
and Articulation and the Registrar's Office. Evening student transfer credits
are handled through Academic Advising and the Registrar's Office.
When Continuing Education students are accepted, Academic Advising makes
every attempt possible to complete the evaluation within two weeks of receipt
of the students' folder from the Admissions Office. |
