Nursing Information Sessions
The university offers a variety of ways to visit the campus. The most valuable option is the open houses which offer students the opportunity to meet with staff, faculty and students.
Please be advised that the nursing information session should not replace the open houses or campus tours. These information sessions are being offered for those students who have already visited the campus and have more detailed questions about the nursing program.
Upcoming sessions for the spring will be announced soon.
Reservations are required by emailing Liz Lake in the admissions office at elake@salemstate.edu. Please indicate which session you are interested in attending, along with your name and phone number.
Informational Interviews
Interviews are not required, but we welcome the opportunity to speak with you in person about entrance requirements, majors or any concerns you may have. Please bring a copy of your academic credentials to the interview. To schedule an appointment, please call 978.542.6200.
On The Spot Admissions
We offer you the opportunity to meet with an admissions representative for an "on the spot admissions decision." These appointments may not provide official decisions for all majors, but will provide you with insight to the admissions process. If you wish to schedule an interview, you must bring a copy of your academic credentials. We do not provide on the spot admission for freshman students in music or art; or for transfer students in nursing, occupational therapy, social work, music, or art. To schedule your appointment, please call 978.542.6200.
