This annual series offers practical ideas and content knowledge to teachers from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The intent of the workshops is to provide a foundation to globalize the Massachusetts mandated curriculum and internationalize professional teaching experiences.
What’s Inside? Fascinating Structures Around the World
Giles Laroche will take us on an architectural journey around the world with his newest book, published in April 2009. Through analysis of his artwork and discussion of the text, the author will demonstrate how to use literature and art forms in teaching global concepts.

Teacher Leaders for a Global Age: Fulbright Opportunities and Rewards
Dr. Cleti Cervoni, a 2008 Fulbright Scholar, will share her experiences in Wales and opportunities for becoming a Fulbright Scholar. A follow-up discussion will examine the benefits of teaching and learning abroad.

Norman Rockwell’s World
This illustrated lecture will offer a historical view of the past century as it influenced social, cultural, economical and political events in the 21st century. Thomas Daly, the Norman Rockwell Museum Curriculum Specialist, will analyze Norman Rockwell's illustrations of America's involvement in the world.
