Deadlines

Meeting deadlines is vital to assure that you receive the maximum that you are eligible for.

FAFSA's for the next academic year (2010/2011) will be available beginning on January 1^st.

Massachusetts Resident should be aware that the State's FAFSA deadline to be considered for Mass Grant is May 1^st.

Additional Deadlines

Salem State's PRIORITY* deadline is March 1^st.

* Financial aid is awarded on a funds available basis and the potential to miss out on certain funding is a reality as the awarding process progresses through the spring. Meeting the priority deadline will help you not only receive the maximum aid you are eligible for, but you will receive your aid package sooner; leaving you ample time to financially plan for the upcoming school year.
