Application
Alternative Loans and Financing
Apply for Financial Aid for 2011-2012
Students wishing to apply for aid for the fall 2011 semester need to complete a FAFSA online. Financial aid is awarded based on when the FAFSA is received and a student’s file is completed. Salem State's priority deadline for filing the 2011-2012 FAFSA is March 1. More information is available.
Sign Your Stafford Loan Promissory Note
If you are a first time borrower at Salem State you must also complete entrance counseling; you will need your FAFSA pin number for both. Not completing these requirements will result in a delay of your loan funds being released and can ultimately result in cancellation of your Stafford Loans. Alternative Student Loans
Private student loans, also referred to as alternative student loans, are great solutions to help you pay for college or graduate school if financial aid doesn't cover all of your expenses. Recent changes in federal regulations will affect alternative loan borrowers and the delivery of your loan funds to the college. Alternative loan polices and lenders information.
