NEW SCHOLARSHIP: Massachusetts Transfer Tuition Waiver Scholarship

Students transferring directly to Salem State within one year of graduation from a Massachusetts State Community College with an associate's degree that included completion of the Mass Transfer Block with a GPA of 3.0 will be eligible for a scholarship for the amount of in-state day tuition. Students must be admitted for fall 2014 or beyond, enroll as a full time day student, and stay continuously enrolled for the full four semesters of eligibility. In order to maintain the scholarship for the second year of study, students must maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 at Salem State.

Students who don't meet the full time enrollment criteria but who otherwise meet the criteria above may still be eligible for the Mass Transfer 33 percent tuition discount, subject to review for eligibility. Before full eligibility can be determined, students must provide a final transcript from their sending community college showing both the associate's degree and Mass Transfer certification. Final eligibility is contingent upon full time registration before the end of the add/drop period.
