The Master of Arts in Teaching Art Program focuses on the academic and studio needs of teachers and visual artists who want to receive an initial license and the professional level license to teach in Massachusetts. The PK-8 Initial License, 5-12 Initial License, and Professional License programs provide the skills and competencies needed by visual arts teachers and include a strong studio component in addition to curriculum development and teaching methods.
