Mathematics Student Invited to Participate in a Research Experience for Undergraduates Program

The Mathematics department congratulates mathematics major Brandon Tries on being invited to participate in a Research Experience for Undergraduates program at Grand Valley State University this summer. The program typically receives over one hundred highly qualified applicants from across the country, of whom eight are selected to participate, so this is quite an accomplishment for Brandon.  At the conclusion of the program, he and his fellow students will attend MathFest in Portland, Oregon.
