Future teachers of Italian grant program
Future teachers of Italian grant program will launch at Salem State starting in October 2010. The Consulate General of Italy in Boston and the schools of the Lombardy region of Italy will sponsor two Salem State undergraduate students per year to live, work, and study in Italy. The students will earn a monthly stipend of 600 euros to work part-time as a teacher’s assistant for an English teacher in the Lombardy region. Awardees may also take courses at the local university and/or prepare for the CELI (Certificate of Knowledge of the Italian Language).
