Québec Book Donation to Salem State College

The Quebec Delegation Governement Office in Boston has generously offered to donate a selection of classic works of Québécois literature to the Salem State College Library to celebrate the "Journée internationale de la Francophonie" on March 20 and to recognize our Department's dedication to teaching courses on Québécois literature and culture. The books include major literary works by Louis Hémon, Dany Laferrière, Germaine Guèvremont, Michel Tremblay, Gaston Miron, Yves Beauchemin, and Louis Caron. To learn about Francophone events happening in the region to celebrate the diversity of the French-speaking world, visit: http://www.mri.gouv.qc.ca/franco-newengland. Merci beaucoup, Délégation du Québec!
