Licensure Only in Elementary Education

Licensure

Our program has two tracks.

Choose our initial licensure program if you seek an initial license and/or training in Elementary Education but not a degree.

Choose our professional licensure program if you already hold an initial license and seek a professional license and further professional development in the field but not a degree.

  • Visit our Office of Licensure and Field Placement for licensure and fieldwork questions

Accreditation

Be a part of a program that is rigorous and exceeds professional standards. We have earned accreditation at national and state levels.  We have also been recognized by the Association for Childhood Education International.

Resources

You will have educational and professional development resources at your fingertips to help you achieve your own career goals.  Participate in special projects and take advantage of resources such as the Center for Education and Community, which hosts conferences and professional development opportunities for teachers and graduate students. Choose from a variety of fieldwork experiences. Select one of the 50 communities with whom we have relationships or partner with one of our four laboratory schools, each of which features a different theme.
