Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning

Whether you are established in or new to the financial industry, our Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning can help you become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner. The program, which consists of five courses, is registered with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. (CFP Board) and qualifies you to take the CFP® Certification Examination.

Classes are offered evenings and weekends in the state-of-the-art Bertolon School of Business, and all coursework can be completed in one year.

Our program is one of the few offered for academic credit. Should you decide to pursue an MBA at Salem State, these courses can count as MBA electives.

We provide networking opportunities through established relationships with financial planning individuals and organizations, faculty, and our Career Services office.
