RN/MSN

The RN/MSN program is designed for the registered nurse who does not have a bachelor’s degree in nursing or other field of study. However, you must be a graduate of a nationally accredited diploma or associate’s degree nursing program.

Because this is an integrated program, you will not receive a bachelor’s degree.*  You can earn your MSN by completing 140 credits (24 credit hours less than the conventional two degree sequence).

If you are admitted directly to the RN/MSN program, you must commit to the program. It is structured to give you an individualized plan of study that is accessible and flexible and allows you to attain your MSN in the most direct way possible. You can attend part-time or full-time, and courses are held during the late afternoon and evening hours and/or selected weekends.

*If you decide to pursue a baccalaureate degree, you will need to redesign your plan of study and take additional courses to obtain the BSN.
