Study of major sociological, psychological, and physiological processes of aging. Analysis includes overall view of aging theories and review of research and empirical studies relating to each. Implications for the future in terms of employment, welfare, retirement and political power. Three lecture hours per week. Requirement for B.S. Sociology, Gerontology option.
