CHE Major Wins Award

Frederick Meier Award

Chemistry major Gitit Assor is the winner of the 2009 Frederick Meier Award. This award, endowed by the family of former Salem State President Frederick Meier, is given annually to the most outstanding junior or senior chemistry major. The award of $750 may be applied to tuition, books, conference costs, or research costs. 

William Adams Award

Chemistry major Marci Arrigo is the winner of the 2009 William Adams Award.  This award is given annually to the most outstanding junior studying biochemistry.

American Institute of Chemists Award

Joe Baglieri is the winner of the AIC Award given to the most outsatnding senior chemistry major.

Top Senior Assessment Award

Michael Bates is the winner of the Senior Assessment Award given to the top scorer in the senior assessment test.
