Master of Science (MS) in Counseling & Psychological Services

Our program prepares you for work in a variety of settings, such as mental health facilities, psychological and social service agencies, and marriage and family counseling centers.

Because our program focuses on the discipline of psychology, you will learn how to establish collaborative relationships with individual clients in order to determine what clinical approach is best for the client.

Tailored

Devise a program of study that reflects your interests and supports your career goals. Choose from one of three concentrations: Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Industrial/Organizational Counseling. Also, your practicum and internship and other aspects of the program can be individualized to meet your needs.

We will work with you to establish an optimum schedule that fits into your life. You may enroll on a part-time or full-time basis, and our courses are offered in the evening, all year long.

Resources

Learn from faculty with a variety of and depth of experiences in the mental health field. Many of our faculty are active practitioners, so they can provide you with useful and up-to-date information about being a counselor or therapist. Additionally, our faculty are well-connected to agencies and sites on the North Shore.

We also offer professional development programming, such as licensing workshops, throughout the year to support our students.
