People and Groups in Foreign Languages
The department of Foreign Languages at Salem State University makes every attempt to foster a friendly atmosphere in which students can learn and grow.
Faculty are extremely approachable and willing to help students with their problems. Students should not hesitate to contact a faculty member in their offices or by phone or email. Some faculty prefer voicemail messages. Others prefer email, so do not give up if at first you do not succeed.
Students in language programs too, despite their many commitments, often form groups in which new students can easily fit. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in the language clubs and other cultural activites of the department.
