"I chose Salem State because I knew that I was going to get a great education at an affordable price. I have always wanted to help people and social work is one major that will give me the opportunity to do that. I will be able to work with people of all ages and will be able do case management with individuals or communities.
My academic experience has been great. After I graduate I will be running a summer program for high school students and hopefully work in early intervention after the summer ends. My best experience at Salem has been my seminar group for senior year, which is a small group of eight students. We all have different backgrounds and experiences for the others to learn from and we have been a great support system to one another."
