Description
This course provides the student with an understanding of the pharmacological action of drugs while applying the principles of pharmacokinetics from an advanced practice nursing approach. Case studies are utilized to clarify and correlate therapeutics with health care problems. Cultural, psychosocial, and ethical/legal factors affecting drug therapy will be explored. Required by and limited to students in the Direct Entry MSN Program/NP track.
