Description
This course examines the pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacotherapeutics of drug therapy in the general and specialty client populations. Disease prevention, treatment, and client response will be explored using the nursing process. Social, cultural, and ethical/legal factors affecting pharmacologic therapy will also be discussed. Required by and limited to students in the Direct Entry MSN Program.
