This course provides a forum for students to explore and examine issues and expectations affecting nursing today and in the future. Using a seminar format, students will explore the historical development of nursing and develop an awareness of contemporary political, economic, social, and cultural issues affecting professional nursing. Issues will be explored through assigned readings, clinical journals, and group presentations. Open only to and required of students enrolled in the Direct Entry MSN Program.
