Join Us for Six-Minute Networking!
Dean Doran is thrilled to announce that the Bertolon School of Business will now be hosting bi-monthly six-minute networking session for BSB alumni! Six-minute networking is much like speed dating, but instead of love, the participants are looking for gainful employment and stronger business connections. Attendees will be able to meet face-to-face, one-on-one, with fellow participants for six minutes at a time. Alumni will sit across from each other, trade business cards and be able to give their "elevator pitch." At the end of the six minutes, participants will be instructed to move one seat down and meet with a new contact for another six minutes. Attendees will have the chance to meet at least twelve other alumni. It's a great opportunity to quickly discuss career aspirations and direction while making new business contacts. The Bertolon School is inviting alumni to fill the 24 slots available; students will help run the event. This an amazing opportunity for all those involved. It's also the chance to have a little fun with fellow members of the business world. The first official 6-Minute Networking session will be held at the Bertolon School on Thursday, November 20th from 5 to 7 P.M. This will also be a great opportunity for alumni who have not returned to SSC in the past five years to see the new Bertolon School of Business facility.
