Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Middle School Math

The MAT in Middle School Math, a 39 credit hour program, will serve middle school teachers who already have an appropriate provisional certification with advanced standing or an initial license and who wish to complete a master's degree program to become eligible for professional licensure.  The initial license option, also a 39 credit hour program, is designed for those who wish to obtain an initial license to teach middle school mathematics (5-8) in conjunction with the master's degree.
