Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in English as a Second Language - Curriculum

Our curriculum offers a combination of theory and practice.  The core curriculum emphasizes linguistics and language acquisition and principles, methods, practice, and research.  Electives allow you to specialize in a particular area or to broaden your perspectives via relevant courses.  We offer different capstone options, including portfolio and thesis.
