Sean Cogan, Current Student, Master of Social Work
After leaving the non-profit field of HIV services, I ventured into the world of business. It was a mistake. I discovered my passion was for social services.
To become more marketable in the field I love, I enrolled in Salem State's MSW program. I am a second year graduate student and picked Salem State because of its excellent reputation.
I worked in social services and left the field to try out the for-profit world, but have always missed social services. I decided it was time to get back to that field, and an MSW would make me a more desirable candidate. I hope to work with adults who are in recovery or are dealing with health issues.
