Licensure

For students seeking a mathematics teaching license in Massachusetts, there are several different options. Undergraduate students should major in mathematics and minor in secondary education. Questions about undergraduate licensure options should be directed to Dr. Brian Travers, our undergraduate coordinator of secondary education.  Graduate students may opt for a licensure only program, the Fast Track Program, or complete one of our MAT degrees. Questions about graduate licensure options should be directed to Dr. Julie Belock, our coordinator of the Fast Track Program, MAT in Mathematics, and MAT in Middle School Math.
