The Department of Interdisciplinary Studies provides some of the most diverse and interesting programs on campus. Our Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree has five concentrations: American Studies, Applied Ethics, Philosophy of Art and Culture, Intercultural Relations, and Interdisciplinary Studies. We also offer eleven interdisciplinary minors and special programs.

Featured Internship Beth Messina at House of Seven Gables In the spring of 2008, Beth Messina (BLS/ American Studies major - with a 2nd major in Education) put her American Studies skills, knowledge, and training to good use while completing an internship and research practicum at The House of the Seven Gables. »
