Salem as a Safer Child Community Initiative
April 17 from 8:30 am-3 pm at the Ellison Campus Center

Children are the most precious resource in any community. They are our most important investment in a good future. The Salem as a Safer Child Community Initiative aims to build policies and practices and relationships that will increase the safety and well-being of children in our community.

On Wednesday, April 17, 2013, the Center for Childhood and Youth Studies at Salem State University will invite the civic and academic communities to join together in a program of deliberative dialogue that addresses the question, How safe are our children? We invite you to join us on April 17 from 8:30 am to 3 pm at the Ellison Campus Center on the Salem State University campus for what promises to be a creative and important dialogue. Please RSVP to Yvonne Vissing, Director of Center for Childhood and Youth Studies at Salem State University (yvissing@salemstate.edu) ot 978.542.6144 to let us know if you are coming and/or for more information.
