Advanced Professional Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis
There are several options for studying applied behavior analysis at Salem State University. All of the following links include the relevant Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) approved course sequences for certification as a behavior analyst. The Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. has approved the following course sequence as meeting the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst Examination. Applicants will have to meet additional requirements to qualify.

Students complete 18-24 credits, which are planned with the program coordinator. The six-course sequence is required to complete the certificate. Practicum courses are optional, and tailored to the student's interests.
