The Graduate Education Council reviews new courses, changes to existing courses, changes in graduate programs, and new graduate programs proposed by faculty. 

Preparing for Graduate Education Council Meetings

Please refer to the information below regarding the date, time and location of each meeting.  In order to ensure that the council members have time to carefully consider proposals, the council requests that you adhere to the following schedule:

AY = Academic Year.  If the current AY is 1854, then AY + 1 would be 1855 *Note:  Typically courses will become effective September 1 or January 1, but in exceptional circumstances the committee may approve a course to begin on May 15.
