Bachelor of Arts Chemistry
In addition to 40-41 credits in chemistry, a year of math is taken before starting the physics sequence PHS 211-212 or PHS 213-214. All BA candidates must take the calculus sequence up to the level of MAT 310, Calculus III. (In your freshman year, you’ll start your calculus sequence at a level depending upon your math preparation.) We recommended that you also take MAT 311, Calculus IV, and MAT 413, Ordinary Differential Equations, which will usually qualify you for a minor in Mathematics. The minimum number of credits necessary to earn a BA in Chemistry is 127.
