Application Materials
- Completed Admissions Application.
- A $50 non-refundable application fee made payable to Salem State - check or money order.
- Complete, official transcript documenting the award of a bachelor's degree and any graduate courses taken or degrees held.
- Three completed Reference for Graduate Admission forms. References may attach a letter, but must also return the form.
- Official copy of scores from the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) taken within the last five years.
- Students for whom English is not a first language must submit Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) scores.
- Statement of purpose (500- to 1,000-words, double-spaced) addressing the following questions:
-What factors in your personal and professional history have influenced you in the past and now lead you to seek admission to this program at Salem State?
-What are your long-term professional goals, and how will this program help you meet them?
-Is there any other information that you think would help the admissions committee to evaluate your application?
Additional Materials
- Resume reflecting business/management/work experience.
- International students must also submit a statement of financial support, copies of I-20 forms (if applicable), and have transcripts translated into English and evaluated by a reputable evaluation service.
Application Deadlines
- We recommend that you apply no later than May 1 for fall enrollment, November 1 for spring enrollment and February 15 for summer enrollment.
- Please be advised that if you are an international student or applying for a graduate assistantship then you must apply no later than February 15 for fall enrollment.
- Please be advised that applications will not be reviewed until they are complete (all required materials are received).
Advanced Standing Credit
You may be able to earn up to 18 advanced standing credits for foundation courses, depending on prior coursework.
- Fill out an MBA Advanced Standing Credit Form for EACH graduate course you are submitting for consideration.
