Description
This course is designed to help initial teacher candidates develop confidence in their skills and abilities to meet the challanges of being new mathematics teachers, and develop positive mental habits and professional attitudes. Weekly seminar supports an internship or practicum of at least 150 hours in a middle or secondary school math classroom. Seminar format will facilitate communication between practicum students/interns, their college supervisors and teaching professionals from their home schools.
