Description
Teacher candidates will plan lessons and units that introduce children to a sense of wonder, curiosity, and participation in their world, their country, and their neighborhood. Their planning will facilitate elementary students? investigation of the physical contour of their planet and the relationship among people through the study and research of history, economics, geography, government and civics. Special emphasis throughout on inquiry, creativity, and critical thinking. Three hours per week for half a semester. Required for Initial Licensure.
