|Title||Teaching Grammar to English Language Learners|
This course examines the theory and practice of grammar instruction in the second language context. Students will apply the study of grammatical forms and structures of English to teaching English in context. Students will develop original lesson plans that incorporate grammar instruction and technology into a standards-based framework. 10-pre-practicum hours are required. Prerequisites: ENG 770N / EDU 791N - Theories and Principles in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and ENG/EDU 792 - Methods and Approaches in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
