Title Autism Spectrum Disorders: Applied Behavior Analysis

This course provides working professionals and families with an overview of the core principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA is commonly used to support children on the Autism spectrum. The course will include comprehensive research-based procedures to systematically reduce inappropriate behaviors and promote socially adaptive behavior in the classroom. Three lecture hours per week and a total of 12 hours of fieldwork during the semester observing a child identified on the Autism spectrum.
